Do you know that long necklaces really flatter everyone? Since all the attention on your shape is focused on the center, a long necklace acts as a skinny central point. Similar to a vertical color blocked dress.
Usually the outline of such a dress is darker on the outside to create shadow, or disappearing outline. The center is lighter in color, but narrow to create a slim shape. Similarly, a long necklace, in colors and shimmers, draws the eye to the center, and up and down, subconsciously noting a slim shape.
On the wrist, the tassel is such a trendy fashion forward statement! Tassels have been around for millennia! Religious Pharisees in Biblical times used and added tassels to promote and "show off" their status, the more tassels the more "holy" they were, and supposedly closer to God and Heaven. Jesus, of course, burst that bubble! Today, tassels are experiencing a fashion moment that does not seem to be ceasing!
